The CTP Recognition Program is an initiative to highlight CTPs who are performing outstanding work in the areas of project management, outreach and communications, innovation, data management, and other key areas of the Risk MAP process. All CTP Program Stakeholders: FEMA Regions, Operating Partners, Regional Program Management Leads (RPMLs), Community Engagement Risk Communication Leads (CERC-Ls), and CTPs can nominate a CTP for the Recognition Program
FEMA's Cooperating Technical Partners (CTP) Recognition Program
2021's First Place CTP Recognition Program winner was the Illinois State Water Survey and Illinois Department of Natural Resources for their work leveraging Risk MAP and Silver Jacket projects to inform mitigation planning.
At the first annual CTP Recognition Awards in 2017, the Illinois State Water Survey and their Coordinated Hazard Assessment and Mapping Program (CHAMP) received an Honorable Mention for their work in assessing local flood hazards, identifying high-risk areas, and engaging community partners to inform, educate, and empower others to take action in preventing losses from natural hazards.
